The Associated French Press reports:
"Two people were killed, a policeman and a civilian, and 22 people wounded, including five police, when a suicide car bomber targeted their patrol," Mosul police Major Hussam Aldeen Mohammed told AFP.Earth Times explains that Mosul is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in Iraq. The city has been the target of several attacks recently, despite heavy security.
