Iraqi gunmen, disguised as soldiers, killed 25 people assumed to have links with Sunni Militias opposing Al-Quaeda.
"In the past two years there have been many attacks aimed at punishing or intimidating Sunnis, but this is one of the bloodiest for some time," says the BBC's Jim Muir in Baghdad.
Reuters reports that 13 people have been arrested for the killings.
